General Drop Observations:
Albion characters tend to get alot of Chain, Plate and Studded drops
from sobekite fleshrenders in Stygia Delta. So far 2 plate drops 4 chain
drops and 3 studded. The plate dropped within 3 pulls of each other.
Dao's supposedly drop Desert Runed leather armor, so far have yet to
get one to drop.
Mau's tend to drop hammers for weapons.
Sobekites tend to drop thrusters.
Setians are rumored to drop Leather.. so far nothing.

Necropolis: It is at loc 10k, 10k in the Land of Atum
There is also another one of these bound jinn who will port you; he
pops out of a runed stone (when you right-click it) near Necropolis, loc
approx 16k 19k in Land of Atun. He says he will port you to DL, and to
other places as you reach a higher ML. 11/14
I went back to check the djinn; at ML 1, he says he will add a
new destination when I am ML 2. In addition, a guildie of mine got
the Eye of Ra dropped off a named lion, put it in one of the croc
statues (think he said the third one in Stygia); the statue's head
turned towards the pyramid, he got a notice of quest completion...and
now the djinn will port him to Dom as well as DL. He thinks that
the additional port was due to the Eye of Ra thing...but of course, in
ToA, one can never be sure...... Nov 15

Refer to the map of Necropolis to find
the following:
Echo of Hapy:
Hapy starts out pretty easy, pure mellee mob. However after you
have damaged him a bit, he splits into approximately 6-8 copies of
himself. Beware the lag when he does this. You don't
actually need to kill all of them - you only need to damage them a bit
and their "energy will run out" or something to that extent and they
will vanish. Once they're all gone, the original Hapy will
re-appear and you continue beating on him. He will continue to
split every so often - just rinse and repeat until the real Hapy is
dead.
Echo of Qebehsenuef
Qeb is by far the easiest of the Echos. His special attack is an
AOE heat based DD which he uses often. As long as heat resist
buffs are up then he really isn't much of a problem.
Echo of Imsety
Imsety himself is not difficult at all, he is a pure mellee mob with
weak hitpoints. (Compared to the other Echos) He does
however spawn lions every so often while fighting him, and the lions are
DANGEROUS. They like to DD you for 500 if you let them. The
key is to kill him FAST so not many lions spawn. If you have a
caster with the Majestic Will RA (Like everybody on Gaheris does, but
nobody anywhere else) get him to use it and he'll drop in a few
seconds. If not you may want 2 groups for him with 1 group getting
the lions as they spawn... it's tough to say really as I havn't
tried him without MW.
Echo of Duamutef
By far the coolest and laggiest of the Echos. Mid-way through the
fight this Echo will split into a *LOT* of yellow con scarabs.
MAKE SURE GUARDS ARE ON CASTERS BEFORE THIS FIGHT! hehe
Hopefully you'll have multiple pbae casters for this encounter.... make
sure they're guarded and have them blast away. Dooable but
extremely difficult with a pbae/shield tank heavy group - 2 groups will
ensure success.
Chamber of Sah, Khat, and Irn
These chambers are all identical... there are no named mobs - however
there are 2 deep purple theurgist casters in each along with 4 deep
purple mellee types. It's a tough fight, but just take out the
theurgists first, assist, and you shouldn't have much trouble with
them. After each fight you get a quest item which I assume has to
do with a master level. 11/11

To go to the Necropolis:
It is at loc 10k, 10k in the Land of Atum
Go to the Stygian Delta zone. Bind at the Haven there. Then go west.
West of the Stygian Delta is the Land of Atum. In the North West corner
of Atun is the Necropolis.
Also, before you leave the Haven, there are some Mau nearby. One of
them, just a bit north east of the haven, still in sight of the haven,
is a named critter that gives a quest. The quest tells you to give a
cloak to a Mau in the Necropolis. Thats all I will tell you on that
Quest.

Raid Report
What is called the "Necropolis" on maps is actually called the "Halls
of Ma'ati" (must be ML1 to enter) once you are inside. There are 2
underground areas on the first side. One on the far side of the river.
One on the close side of the River.
Each side contains somewhere in the neighborhood of 3 "Echo"s and 3
"chambers". Need to map it further.
Echo:
Named for Osiris' sons:
Imset, Hapy, Duamutef, and Qebehsenuf
Echo's are a named mob. There are 4 (different types) that I have come
across, have defeated them all.
guarded by two 'bound z' ghost looking mobs.
Down in the chamber will be a few tank type and a few caster type of
these mobs. Caster ones create pets. After clearing a chamber you get a
"wrap" item.
Got "Quest completed" messages upon clearing chambers and Echos.
"Hell" Hallway:
This is immediately below the entrance as you come in. If you kill the
guard the fire barrier will go down temporarily. Then you need to haul
ass across the room. Drag any agro into the hall on the other side and
outside before the guard spawns.
Dock:
Will "permanently" disease you if you talk to the gate keeper and you
are told to find a fountain of health.
Across bridge pass "Hell" Hallway:
The is a staircase full of purple snakes. Once you kill them all and
make it to the bottom there is a named mob. Talked to him and he said we
weren't ready yet. So I guess we have to be a higher ML or something.
- Khail
More on Necropolis:
There is a zone in spot at the front in the centre but to the right and
left are two rooms that have purple con crocs that give you credit for a
quest. There are statues and stairs in front of each of those rooms.
Once you zone into the actual dungeon you will find some tunnels
blocked by a purple mob and a fire barrier. Kill the mob to drop the
barriers.
Further into the dungeon ( we were just wandering and not paying
attention to where we were going ) is a purple named mob that turns into
a bird when you engage her. She's an easy 1g kill that gives you credit
for something. She has an insta nuke that doesn't seem to have a range
on it. I couldn't get my healer far enough away to not get inturupted.
You just have to deal with it.
There were also several rooms that seemed like dead ends but we got
credit and a quest item when we cleared the rooms. They have some
ghost-type mobs that are melee types, sorcerers and theurgists. The
theurgists are a real pain in the butt. Mez didn't stick very often and
their earth theurgist pets could not be mezzed at all. Sorcerers will
mez so be ready to de-mez your friends.
We also ran into to NPCs that required us to have completed other tasks
before we could proceed. Without the clues we didn't have anything to
really figure out what they wanted us to do / give them.
One last thing. There is a dark green river (don't go in it )with a
dock on it. On the dock are two npcs that are friendly. When you talk
to one it gives you what seems like a disease but its actually
benificial. It reduces endurance cost for styles. We didn't bother
trying to figure out this trial.
I'm sorry, my info is vague but we didn't have much to work with. We
were just exploring and managed to get some quests ( most likely trials
) done.

Reports from a fellow who has been raiding this dungeon:
There is some very nice loot in this dugeon pulled 3 peices of 99
quality loot off the level 70 armsmaster. A friar staff that has these
mace life things on the end and procs a 20% damage shield with really
nice stats including +15% to melee damge. Also got some great merc
specific legs.
The respawn in the water is ridiculous the second the swimming mermaid
things die boom they respawn again..
Im read that the keys to unlock the upper part are on the cheiftan. Can
anyone confirm or deny this we have tried 10 to 15 times to get to the
cheiftan in a group unsucesfully- we keep being hindered by the quick
respawn and storm callers simply chaining theurg pets on you. We are
talking 20 to 30 theurg pets.
There is 2 level 70 chained mobs one is the reflection of the other. We
are curretly working on killing these. You cannot fight the main mob
presumably because you have to kill the reflection first, which we have
gotten her very low but the main mob is also a thuerg and chains pets on
you. Her name is Riorre or something similar if anyone can add to this
body of knowledge. I can say that the drops we have pulled out of this
dungeon are worthy of exploration.

Temple Layout:
Swim down the tunnel. You arrive at about 23, 23 after going down a
hole. I call this the Crossroads. You can go W, SW or East.
Directly west of there, you have a triton treasure hunter against the
south wall. He explains the barracuda horde to the west. It's about 10+
red/purple barracudas with a deep purple one that glows supposedly
controlling them. That is 3.6.
If you go east, the tunnel slopes down then curls around south. You
run into a 3 way fork. NW (where you are coming from), NE and SW. SW
loops back to connect to the same tunnel that SW from the Crossroads
leads to. Down there, on the south side you will find the barracuda
room. They aggro from pretty far away and chew people up quickly. All
grape. That is 3.8.
The northeast path from the 3way fork we have yet to
explore. Also, I would recommend no less than 2 fg for
exploring all of ToT. Aggro and adds are pretty nasty in some places.
- Alcara Argenta
I didnt venture too far in, its all oj-red con at start, quickly
moves up to grape. Mainly Octopus and manta rays/eels.
- Ariesean
Do not play with the Barracuda with the Glowing spell effect. He
makes all the lil fishes come an kill you as he stuns and or mez's ya.
Not one single drop.
Some mobs not even coin.
- Momolicious
Not much more info here.. We went in with a 2 guild groups, like 12
people.. Made it through a few branches.. The vertigo from having to
swim up and down through tunnels to get to different levels was quite
disorienting.. Took us about 5 minutes to get completely lost, so we
were just picking a random direction at each branch we came to.. Not
much in the way of drops, methinks this one may not be fully itemized
yet.
We made it to a room full of purple con Rays.. Were trying to keep our
distance but accidentally got aggro.. Well, let's just say these are not
ordinary mobs.. We got a /broad message about one ray drawing strength
from the others, or something to that effect, then the *entire* swarm
all went after one person at a time.. About 10 of them, hitting for
400-600 a swing.. Wiped our 2 groups in about 20 seconds.. A swarm of
/assisting purple cons is no joke..
- Segnar
A friend and I went in there last night. Nice camp, decent
mobs, but same.... no drops. While I'm in it for the XP and some fun,
it's still nice to hope for a drop or two on occasion.

Has lvl 35 or so hunting:
Cloth armor can be found at Hesperos
(21k, 32k) on a small island with inferior marids, lesser jannis, and
one named mob, Delina. Also, the
mobs con yellow and oj to me at 37, they have been that way since level
34. Nov 19
- Ironknuckles
harpies at 14k, 44k
You can do these with 2 people at lvl 37.
Drops: necklace, lvl 49 gem, lvl 42 focums staff, lvl 44 cloth chest
pieces.
The first island you get ported to has a bunch of my guess is mid
20s under water stingrays[cant remember]. Cant remember my directions
but to the right of the temple with the arbitrator in it, a little ways
out in the water is where they were. I seen a couple on teh shore so i
had to check it out. There are also some 30s on teh island past
those mobs in the water. Both types of mobs were aggro to me.
- Smage
First island you port to has tons of good low mobs underwater
around it, watch out for sharks. Also the harpies and statue islands
towards the Volcanus docks.
- Poolrad
When you get off the boat go to the hall and take the portal to
Hesperos. Then head to the town, south I think, bind and then go out the
south gate and island hop south.
There are two islands with one tower, and one island with a whole bunch
of ruins. All that stuff is good for solo 35 ish. The exps SUCK
because it is outdoors and not dungeon and no group bonus. But the drops
are fantastic. I got a bunch of jewelry drops which were all level 49
off of level 35-40 mobs. When you are at the island with all the ruins,
swim east to another little island with djinn like things on there.
Attack some and you will be in for a nice surprise, they actually have
good AI, and great chain with piety drops there. Also got staves with
36-40 levels to all magic.
If you head south from the island with all the ruins you will come to
treasure island. It is filled with purples and chests, whend,
spawn 3-6 yellow to purple mobs to a level 35-40. I got a scroll here.
Beware swimming to this island as the sharks swarm you.
From the Djinn island you can swim east and a little south to another
island which has yellow crocs to 35 and lots of other purples, and saw
one red, so maybe a group can take em. 3 of us 35's barely killed a
purple, but we did it, group would be easy. Drops were their too.
Since the exps seem lower it is only beneficial to farm or explore. I
did it duoing with a shaman friend and it was fun for a bit cause the
company was good, but for pve at 35 it wears dull quick, unless you get
lots of drops which we did.
On one of the islands with one tower, we got chain and a shield for
shaman types.
Only say one melee drop and it was a ring with 18 con and other
stats...everything else was for shaman and healer and thane. (Piety)
I did see one cloth and one leather drop, but that was it, chain was
much more available. Maybe it drops based on who is hunting? We were
both chain users.
I asked about a dozen npc's for quests and got nothing around level 35.
Not sure where the quests are or if they are all 40+.

Seti the Pharaoh in the Fortress of Storms

Setian Forts
The Setian forts are a slaughter zone waiting to coble up little 50th
level people and spit them back out. There is a way to kill the mobs in
the fort with only 1 group. However, its really risky. We were able to
take out 2 runs and whiped on the third.
The key is Confusion. You have to keep all most all of the setians
confused and fighting each other. You simply pick them off as they kill
each other. As long as you participate and get some killing blows in
you will get credit and loot. I can't stress enough that this is every
risky. Also, do not confuse them inside the fort and watch for scouts
from the camps. If you get the scouts one or both camps will all rush
you. This can hold true for the main fort itself. Nov

Setian Camps near Forts
The Setian camps that exists just outside the forts are REALLY great
places to just slaughter for loot or xp depending on what your group is
made of. The trick is you need CC. You see the camp can be completely
emptied of all mobs and the fort will send out 3 laborers to the camp.
This will never stop. You can keep this up for hours and the fort will
continually pump out setians.
Also, I can't remember the LOC but the named setian that drops the
NAilah's Robes walks by one of these camps. I have encountered him
twice here. Its just inside the land of Atum along hte north edge of
the river behind one of the Gator statues is the fort and it has a camp
on the west side and on the east side. We did this on the west side.
Lots of Armor drops, and Spear's History 1 of 3 as well as Helenia's
Letters 3 of 3 I believe drop at this camp.

Faction Hunting Spot
I don't know if you're familiar with the 3 factions in Meso loc
34k 5k but man it's a good time.
theres the skyros the naxos and the melos and I've spent all day
fighting them all
The Skyros have hib classes the Naxos have mid classes and the Melos
have alb classes
I've fought Valewalkers Friars Eldritches Mentalists Spear heros
cabalists sorcerors ice wizards mercenaries rangers scouts hunters
spiritmasters bonedancers reavers clerics nightshades bards armsmen and
druids
all merpeople and all with very good AI
example I fought an ice wizard and he cold debuffed me, cold DD nuked
me then when I got too close he ice rooted me and kited me!
All the healing mobs heal their friends in the area
A spear hero even landed a parry reactionary on me stunning me for 2
seconds
All the hib casters get 9 second stun
and Mythic even named them after level titles of classes like the
Valewalker mob is a Skyros Harvester and the Nightshade mob is a Skyros
Stalker just to name a few
really fun spot for soloing.
Everything here is blue-orange con
This also isn't to neglect mentioning that they all get spells that are
similar to those classes like light DD's for the hibs and AF buffs that
look like the classes respected AF buffs and what not... all the same
parry and evade and everything.... the bard mob even insta DD's and
mezzes

Stygia:
We went to the temple with a large group cause one people was saying it
he attacked a purple and a huge army came so we were wondering if we
brought a huge group if we could take it. As soon as someone stepped
into city we had litterally over a
hundred of the guys attacking .. From all sides. It was related to
the final battle scene from Mummy 2. We are not sure what it is for..
Think maybe a ML of high lvl.. It just was chaos. Oj's red and purples
to 50's were coming.. As I said. BG had I think 66 people at final count
before we haded there and it was total wipe out in under 2
mins. 11/14

Whirling Light
I have also seen the Whirling Light on the statue island just across
the way where you zone in through the blue portal into Oceanus. I hunt
the harpies, statues, and Janni dusts for the coral armor drops and
other niceties. I saw this thing and didnt know what to think of it. I
thought it might be a product of the janni's (there is a portal Ancient
Djinn Stone nearby that I use to go immediately to Svasud) Hunting
things in it and other such activitys caused nothing. I tried talking
to it and everything else my guild and I could think of. The only
perisistant pattern was that it came at night and it still comes as I
farm the Jannis for the last piece of armor i need.

The
picture was taken just outside of the Haven of Stygia. It had sound
effects like a tornado or something. Was not clickable/attackable. was
able to pass thru it a couple times. No idea what this could
be. 11/14
I was in stygia when i aggroed a blue con Wandering Mau,and i thought
fine this will be easy, apperantly not they have been given a full heal
spell which is uninteruptable and which they use every 3 attacks of
mine??
After all my mana and end were gone i had no way of putting up enough
damage to kill this thing. Every time i got it to 10 percent,it healed
itself fully. 11/11
- Sqweebo
I`ve noticed this also, if you attack mau too close to the
maubastet camp. I think it is their named priest in the middle of the
camp that instaheals them, because it hasnt happened anywhere else as
far as i know or have seen. Simply kite the mau a bit away from the camp
and then blast it to oblivion. 11/11

Ashen Isle, Lateef, Chimera
Lateef
Comments on Solo, Grouped, or Battlegrouped:
This will take 2 full groups.
Lucky for me, I was not right on top of the bridge when
the 3 purple mobs spawned and killed Lateef. A broadcast message is
displayed that says one of the mobs takes the dagger he was going to
give you, kills him, and then "sheathes the dagger." This tells me that
you have to kill the named mob who took the dagger to get it. His name
was Sutekh I think. They are all high purples though, including one who
can mez and stun. I would say it would require at least 2 strong
FG. 11/11

In the far SE corner of Ashen Isle, there is a named mob
(yellow con) named Lateef. He asks you to help him escape from Ash
Isle/Typhon's by taking him to a bridge to the west of his location.
He walks extremely slow, it took me 25 minutes or more to lead him
safely to the bridge, Once there, he said 'Meet me on the other side fo
your reward'. As he approached the middle of the bridge 3 deep purple
con mobs spawned instantly killing him, and then taking me down
afterwards.
I'm not sure exactly how this is supposed to be worked out, but I think
you need to tell him to [wait] just before he gets to the bridge,
otherwise he takes off at about speed 9 across and dies. Then probably
kill the 3 named mobs that pop, In a guess would take at least 2-3g+ One
mob is a mezzer, one is a shaman, and the other a tasnk (I believe).
Looked to be pretty tough, and they all hit fairly hard (upwards of
400-500 on a level 50 zerk with capped gear on).
If you get him across the bridge, I believe he gives you an artifact,
but I have yet to be able to do this so far.
- Maestrok
- Lateef will now spawn much more frequently. (from
11/11 patch notes)
Chimera
Comments
on Solo, Grouped, or Battlegrouped:
This has been done with two full groups.
This mob is comparable to the dragon imo as far as melee goes. he
had no special AI "properties" that we could tell, straight up melee
fight. Along with the fact you have a constant pop of oj-purple
guardians nonstop.
It took about 2 hours total to bring him down, with ZERO deaths. Not
going to go into the strategy used tho.

Unfortunately for us, since the greater majority were on ML2 or there
abouts...none of us were able tothe chests. I wasn't able to
verify whether or not we had to actually have reached that high in ML
before we couldthem.
Anyways, /drool over those chests.

took him down on alb/bors with 2fg. took us ~30 minutes.
i think if you guys brought some animalist, would take hibs
maybe 20 minutes
we got a friar robe and cleric bp. and 6 keys also which we couldn't
use.
- Enigmatic Few
I was one of those on alb/bors that helped take him down with 2
groups. There's no real 'strategy' needed, just have one group take
adds, and one group tank the chimera. When the second group isn't
killing adds, they go fight the chimera again. Not exactly rocket
science. He dropped a nice cleric bp, and a nice friar robe. 6 keys, as
has been said, also dropped, but we were not allowed to use them for
some reason (thanks julie for checking into that).

Moving Statues on the North bridge
While me and a friend was hunting the north bridge for the bane
of the battler scrolls (killing Tuar Skopos on the bridge), I notice the
two statues to my side looked like they moved sometimes.
Sure enough, me and my cleric friend were about to log near one of the
statues when I noticed the tail waving back and forth. As I noticed, it
jumped off its pedistle and whent right after the cleric. It conned red
(we are 50s), and hit about 20-30 less damage than the taurs but attacks
noticeably faster. Me and him took it with very little trouble, was like
fighting a tuar skopos. We also dove for the now alive statue on the
opposite side. Both dropped nothing of special interest but junk look
and 1 gold and a bit of silver.
I was pretty shocked to seeing them move, as I have camped for 5 hours
befor this day, and about 3-4 hours prior to them attacking us. I do not
recall any text across my chatbox or actionbox. They just up and became
aggressive MOBs. Careful being around those things when attempting to
hunt this bridge for the Tuar Skopos.
